The Threat to Donald Trump and the Rule of Law

Happy New Year!  We are excited to have Stephen Presser, one of two (!*) current Visiting Scholars with CU Conservative Thought and Policy join us for what will be another great year of luncheons, fellowship, learning, and discussion.

As a leading American legal historian and expert on shareholder liability for corporate debts, Law Professor Stephen Presser is a renowned resource in issues of Constitutional Law, Business Associations and Legal History.  He holds a joint appointment with the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and also teaches in Northwestern's history department.

As a supporter of Trump, Dr Presser holds a lonely view in the legal academy.  Yet he valiantly builds the case for sifting through the noise and recognizing the true pivot point that our nation is facing as we struggle to govern during this tumultuous period.  It is critical to our future that we get right.

Explore his book titles, published essays, and articles from his profile at Northwestern here:

*This is the first year that the popular Conservative Scholar Program is able to host two scholars.  With generous support both financially and with engagement, it is clearly showing signs of success.

Remember to make your reservation before noon on Friday, January 11th. Make sure if you are paying on-line, you log in to the site. Otherwise, it costs an extra $2 and that fee goes to Club Express, not BRW. If you need help logging in, you can email Marijo Tinlin at tinlinmarijo (at) and she will send you information on resetting your password.
